Thanks for your time. Where are you currently based?

Mavrikk: Waynesboro va

Why did you choose to get into the music industry?

It really wasn’t a choice…being an artist is something that grew on me. process of making a song, the stage, the wauthor things come together. It’s like a relationship you have to work to make it work.

Best punchline you ever wrote?

It’s prolly hoe I carry myself…We all might be in the same boat but I captain this ship.

What are your thoughts on being an indie artist?

with Being an indie artist I feel like the music is more personal and less political. I guess what I mean is it’s easier to deal with the pressure, but that doesn’t mean I don’t think about becoming a politician. (major label artist)

What obstacles have you faced and overcome in the music industry so far?

Where I’m from it’d difficult to enjoy hip hop. Police and figures in my community are not to big on rap. Even through all of that I thrown countless parties with out any violence occurring. ..that may not sound like much but where I’m from its a big deal to actually prove to people that hip hop is not a another word for violence. Embrace our culture and the great feeling we bring to so many people who just want to have a good time.

Fans of what mainstream artists would enjoy your music?

Any fans from Jay-z to Drake..or Kendricks Lamar to 2chains. i really feel like I have a wide variety of flows.

Always..shout out to my city waynesboro va staunton va my home away from home…and my son who motivates me to be a better person in all aspects of my life.
